When Should I Arrive Before My Cruise?
Arriving a day early reduces stress and lets you start your holiday before boarding. For most Canada and New England cruises, one extra night is ideal.
One day early is the sweet spot
Arriving the day before embarkation protects you against flight delays and gives you an evening to explore your embarkation city.
Two days for distant travellers
If you are flying transatlantic or cross-country, consider two pre-cruise nights — especially for Vancouver Alaska sailings.
Same-day arrival is risky
Flying in on embarkation morning works only with generous flight schedules and carry-on luggage. We do not recommend it for international travellers.
